Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a centerpiece of United’s West Coast operations and a gateway to the airline’s domestic and Asia Pacific network. United's $573 million renovation investment of Terminal 7 is reaching completion, bringing greater convience for LAX passengers. As part of this investment, United debuted a state-of-the-art ticketing lobby to a sleek and spacious United Club lounge with an outdoor patio. Last year, United launched new nonstop service between LAX and Singapore– the world's longest route to or from the U.S. United made history in 2016, becoming the first U.S. airline with regularly scheduled flights using sustainable biofuel with the launch of United flight 708 from LAX. It is the fourth busiest airport in the world for passengers and ranks 14th in the world in air cargo tonnage handled. The dynamic airport creates, attracts and supports economic activity throughout Southern California.

In January 2018, United announced a naming rights agreement with the University of Southern California to help sustain and renovate the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, one of the sports world's most beloved historical landmarks and home of the USC Trojans. Through the 16-year agreement, the venue will officially become the United Airlines Memorial Coliseum beginning in August 2019.
