United's Adventure Bear Program is an annual initiative where United employees and customers make charitable contributions that go to help children and their families during health struggles or economic hardship. United collaborated with GUND® to design the limited-edition Adventure Bear, named “Rhonda Globe,” which serves as the program’s ambassador. Hundreds of United employees, customers and community partners volunteer to participate in the Adventure Bear Program and will personally deliver more than 4,200 Adventure Bears by mid-February to children at hospitals around the world. During the deliveries, United employees also spend time visiting with the children and sharing information about their jobs at the airline.
